Shannon McGowan graduates from Bryan College

Shannon McGowan of Tulsa, OK, was among 217 students who received their degrees during Bryan College's 84th commencement service May 5.

During graduation services, the college conferred the Master of Business Administration degree on 27graduates, 67 Bachelor of Arts degrees and 125 Bachelor of Science degrees. Two graduates received both Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees.

Shannon, daughter of Michael and Leslie McGowan received the Bachelor of Arts Honors degree, with highest honors, in history and politics and government. During the service she was recognized as having the highest academic average in her graduating class.

Bryan is a Christian liberal arts college offering two Master's degrees and Bachelor's degrees in 20 areas. The college has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report for 17 consecutive years as being among the Top Tier of Southern comprehensive colleges.
