Shannon McGowan Named to Who's Who at Bryan College

Shannon McGowan, a senior at Bryan College, is among 16 students who have been named to Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges for the 2012 academic year.

Who's Who recognizes students who have a 3.25 or better grade average on a 4.0 scale, who are leaders in academic and extracurricular activities, has exhibited good citizenship and service to the college, and shows potential for future achievement. Students are nominated by the college faculty each year.

Shannon, the daughter of Michael and Leslie McGowan of Tulsa, OK, is among those selected.

Bryan is a Christian liberal arts college offering two Master's degrees and Bachelor's degrees in 19 areas. The college has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report for 17 consecutive years as being among the Top Tier of Southern comprehensive colleges.
