Rose Prince of Madison joins Bryan Colleges' Break for Change in Nashville

Rose Prince of Madison, AL is one of nine Bryan College students spending their spring break working to make a difference in the lives of immigrants in Nashville, Tenn.

Rose, daughter of Joseph and Sharon Prince of Madison is part of Break for Change, a program that encourages Bryan students to spend their spring break, March 5-12, ministering in cross-cultural situations. Teams this year will be serving in Detroit, Mich.; Nashville, Tenn.; Opelousas, La.; San Diego, Calif.; Managua, Nicaragua; and Limbazie, Latvia.

Danielle Rebman, Bryan's Break for Change coordinator, said the Nashville team will work with Community Servants, a group which provides housing, educational and language services for a community made up largely of Asian immigrants.

Rose and teammates will assist with construction and maintenance projects in the mornings, then spend the afternoons working with English language classes and Bible school programs for children..

Bryan is a four-year Christian liberal arts college offering bachelor's degrees in 18 areas. The college has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report for 16 consecutive years as being among the Top Tier of Southern comprehensive colleges.
