Christina Corwin from Bryan College Attends Federal Seminar in D.C.

Christina Corwin, a student at Bryan College, recently attended the Federal Seminar sponsored by the National Association of Evangelicals in Washington, D.C., to learn more about the national political situation.

Dr. Travis Ricketts, associate professor of history at Bryan, said the group heard from four members of Congress and a number of governmental staff members. In addition, they met with Bryan alumna Katherine Halvorson, a Foreign Service officer with the U.S. Department of State. In one session, Chaplain of the Senate Dr. Barry Black told students, "Opportunity often is disguised as work."

Christina is daughter of Todd and Marilyn Corwin of Lenoir City, TN.

Bryan is a Christian liberal arts college offering bachelor's degrees in 19 areas and Master's degrees in Business Administration and Christian Studies. The college has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report for 16 consecutive years as being among the Top Tier of Southern liberal arts colleges.
